Thank you for your interest in The Beaded Palm! Here's a little bit more about myself and the inspiration that helped create the wonderful jewelry you can find on my site.

I've always loved to work on arts and crafts projects, so it was only a matter of time before I developed an interest in beading and jewelry. With my lifelong love of all things shiny and glittery, it's been a perfect fit! After a few trips to local Gem and Mineral shows with friends, I started cultivating the idea of making my own jewelry.

I started creating jewelry in 2005 and after much positive feedback from friends, I decided to give it a try as a business. With additional inspiration from my sister, who also makes handcrafted jewelry, a business venture was born. The name The Beaded Palm comes from my long-standing love of pretty much anything tropical. I lived in beautiful Southern California when I began beading and have always admired all the palm trees everywhere, so a name was created.

Most of my ideas come from purchasing a specific pendant or set of beads and then seeing what comes to mind in creating a piece of jewelry. I also enjoy browsing stores and traveling around to various bead shops either here, or abroad, to see what treasures I might find to work into a new piece.

Multiple Sclerosis Donation

To help fund the research to find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis (MS), I will donate 10% of the profit of every sale to the National MS Society. MS is an unpredictable and chronic disease of the central nervous system. MS can cause numerous symptoms, such as poor coordination, loss of balance, optic neuritis, extreme fatigue, as well as many others.

As a person with MS, it is my desire to help in making the world free of this disease. By making a purchase, you will also be helping the cause. Thank You.
